CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES
Al-ihsan is a registered charitable organisation based in the United Kingdom (1175982). It has always stood at the forefront in organising various activities for the upliftment of South Indian community in London and wider community in India. The organisation has extended its hands to the unfortunate souls who were severely subjected to the communal atrocities in Burma. Our special envoys were dispatched to the inheritors of this calamities who were harboured in Delhi and other surrounding areas. The amount collected to help them was designated and distributed solely for their infrastructural development.
Another recent incident Al-Ihsan actively involved was the devastating flood which engulfed Kerala in 2018. The whole state was under a constant shock for months. The unexpected disaster was unprecedent in its style and the way it embraced the Kerala provinces. The millions of people became homeless, their house partly or completely submerged and destroyed, they lost their belongings, infrastructures have been damaged, epidemics and diseases erupted, and many other losses which affected and changed the way they lived. At this saddening juncture, Al-Ihsan in collaboration with other charity organisations in the United have been able to raise almost quarter million-pound sterling for the destitute in Kerala. Few of the members of the organisations themselves physically travelled to the afflicted areas to help the inhabitants who needed the help most.
Al-Ihsan also extends their hands in helping the community in London who needs the help most. One of the comber, when met with unexpected death leaving his family and children orphaned, Al-Ihsan with their community spirit and expectation of the pleasure of Allah have been able to raise almost ten-thousand-pound sterling in three days. Apart from these activities, the organisation also supports various activities for youngsters including their occasional Islamic and entertaining trips, award ceremonies for their achievements in their academic career and other educational activities. Now Al-Ihsan has become one of the powerful faith charity organisation with its active and rigorous workforce.
Another initiative the organisation put forwarded was 'feeding poor' programme. Al-Ihsan distributed food and clothes to the deprived communities in different villages of India including Mysore, Gujrat, West Bangal, Kashmir, and so on. The fund was collectively raised here in the UK and the volunteers visited the remote locations in India for their distribution. With the generous support and sincerity of the community members, around £10000 has been spent for this initiative.
